The monogram at East Bay is a mixed use commercial building in downtown Charleston, SC. Acting as the project manager for a local company, this building was taken back to only historic structural material, and rebuilt from the ground up. Many challenges were overcome in this project including the erecting and supply of 75 tons of steel above and below ground without disturbing any historic material in the process by utilizing a crane that was able to work inside the building. The end use is an event venue with private roof deck, and ground floor restaurant. Here we will see the largest weddings in the South of Broad area in Charleston.
