Chipmunk Lodge was unfortunately never built, but designed and permitted with the intention of it becoming a forever home on Lake Placid. The structure utilized a hybrid timber frame / traditional frame to capture energy efficiency that can only be accomplished with seamless insulation layers, and maximized views over the lake while highlighting Whiteface off in the distance.
